Superman vs. Kryptonite?!

Superman is a famously know super hero, taking down his enimies with just his fists. There's a reason he is so super, Superman is from Krypton. No, he is no ordinary human, but he was brought up to be that way with his friendly Kansas farmer parents. Superman is much stronger than we can imagine, seeming almost invincible, but he has one weakness...Kryptonite! Kryptonite is the radioactive remains from Krypton, which ultimatly caused the planets destruction. Kryptonite was carried to Earth by Superman's escape vessel, and picked up by the evil Lex Luther. Kryptonite's radiation waves react with Supermans's Kryptonian cells, causing him to have pains if exposed to the element, prolonged exposure will eventually cause death. Lex Luther uses this to his advantage to fight against Superman. It is very intriguing as to the relations of Clark Kent (Superman) and Kryptonite. It's saddening that the planet of Krypton was so needy for energy that they destroyed their planet in the process. Hopefully the story of Superman's home planet doesn't happen to Earth!

Dreaming

Everyone dreams, including animals such as cats and dogs. Dreaming was thought to be communication between the gods and people, but sadly it is not of mystical as that. It really is just the brain being active during sleep. It's just like daydreaming, but sleeping! It has been heard of that dreaming can be caused by eating certain foods before sleeping. Such as eating chocolate before bed can cause you to have nightmares. I have also heard that some people eat a certain food before bed every night so they will dream. Every night you will dream, but you forget about 90% of your dreams after being awake for 10 minutes. Also you can only dream of what you know. If there were to be many people in your dream, they would all have the faces of people you have seen before, even if you never spoke to that person and only saw a glimpse of that person, it is still possible for them to come into your dream. I have also heard before that if you dream of someone, they miss you, but I highly doubt that statement. There are different types of dreams. You can have a lucid dream, which means that you know that you are dreaming and so you can control your dream. It is basically being god of your imaginary world! The most common type of dream is the unconscious dream, which is dreaming and not being aware of the fact you are dreaming. People have such strange dreams, based on circumstances of living, money, environment and relations. But you don't remember most of your dreams, so hold onto to the dreams that you do. They may turn out to be as rewarding as Stephenie Meyer's dream about sparkling vampires and shirtless werewolfs.

Plasma Trash Converter

Mad Cow Disease

Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) is also known as Mad Cow Disease. This disease is a neurological disorder of cattle that results from infection by an unusual transmissible agent called a prion. It is not well understood as to why the protein can become a pathogenic damaging the nervous system of cattle. It is speculated that the infection came from feeding cattle BSE-infected products in the UK. Their has been a dramatic decrease in cases of cows dying from BSE in the US in the last 10 years. A feed ban to cattle was placed on the US and Canada and continues to stay in effect. This prevents cattle from obtaining BSE from food. Tuberculosis

Tuberculosis is a very serious disease and if not treated properally it can become fatal. Tuberculosis (TB) has two catagories because not everyone with TB bacteria becomes sick. Latent TB Infection and TB Disease are the two catagories. The bacteria that dwells within the lungs is called Mycobacterium tuberculosis, it is spread through the air with speech or sneezes and coughs. The bacteria cannot be spread through kissing or sharing of food. Latent TB Infection is when the body has breathed in TB bacteria but is not effected, you neither have symptoms or feel strange. The body fights the bacteria out of the lungs without it becoming noticable, it is not possible to spread the bacteria but it is possible to go from having Latent TB Infection to TB Disease. TB Disease is when Tuberculosis becomes active and can be serious and sometimes fatal. TB testing helps to understand if you contain the bacteria in your body, for Latent TB Infection treatment it reduces the probability that the Latent TB will turn into TB Disease. Treating TB Disease can take up to 9 months, just take the medicine prescribed to you, and take it the right way.
